Description
Condition: This guitar has an exceptionally comfortable feel and a great sound. The back has some lovely wood grain! There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the finish. The heaviest of the wear is on the lower bass and treble side bouts. Some of the chips and dings have been filled in with black paint by hand. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier wear towards the lower registers. There are a few chips on the edge of the fingerboard but they really don’t affect playability. The neck is mostly straight and the truss rod functions fine. There is a small chip in the nut on the d string slot, however it still functions fine with no playability issues. Some touch-up solder work has been done but all electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured alder body in a three-tone sunburst finish. String-through-body design with hardtail bridge and six individual saddles. 3-ply aged white pickguard with dual skirted control knobs and a pointed lower treble side.
Neck: Nicely rounded, slender maple neck with skunk stripe down the back. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Sealed Fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Single-Coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge with master volume and tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.
Neck: 5.60K Ohms.
Middle: 5.81K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.58K Ohms.
Weight: 6lbs, 3.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This guitar offers a very comfortable feel and the classic Fender sound thanks to the guitar’s light-weight and electronics. The pickups sound excellent in any setting. The neck is exceptionally comfortable and ideal for players who prefer a considerably slender neck.
Case: Includes original hardshell case. One of the metal feet on the bottom is broken; otherwise the case is in good working condition.
