What makes this guitar special: 100% original & in great shape for its age. Produced for only a short period of time in the early '80s, the body is actually made of Urelite foam over a cast aluminum frame with a bolt-on mahogany neck & gold hardware. The twin-blade humbuckers each have a series/parallel switch to give you easy in/out of phase options. Professionally set up by our own luthier with fresh strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for its age with some typical light play wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & mild finish wear. There was an additional bottom strap button installed at one time, which has since been removed & the hole filled. Overall the guitar looks wonderful & sounds fantastic.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream binding & black side dots. Ebony fingerboard with abalone inlays. Gold Ovation tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" brass nut; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Single-cutaway, Urelite body over a case aluminum frame finished in white. Top-loading bridge with adjustable brass saddles. 3-ply black pickguard. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 2.3 oz.
Pickups: Twin-blade humbuckers with large black bezels. Each pickup has its own series/parallel switch for in/out of phase options. Bridge - 5.21K ohms; Neck - 5.11K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls; 3-way toggle switch; mono & stereo outputs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
