What makes this guitar special: Aside from a new nut, the guitar is all original & in wonderful condition for its age. The trans red finish is still quite vibrant & the chunky maple neck plays great up & down the fingerboard. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music.
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for its age with typical minor play wear - various minor nicks, dents & dings with a fairly good sized chip in the bottom of the body near the end pin. Various surface scratches throughout, but for the most part the guitar is rather clean.
Neck: Chunky profile maple neck with "shunk" stripe & black dot inlays. Frets show some light wear & have plenty of life in them. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string tree. F-tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in trans red finish. Tremolo tailpiece with adjustable saddles. Original bridge cover & trem arm included. 3-ply black pickguard shows some scratches, but no cracks or breaks. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 13.7 oz.
Electronics: Original single coils with black covers. Bridge - 7.45K ohms; Middle - 5.69K ohms; Neck - 5.79K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with black skirted knobs; 5-way selector switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original owner's manual & extra trem springs.
