Description
Condition: This is a highly unique and very rare Japanese made acoustic guitar. There are various scratches, nicks, dings and dents throughout the finish. There is one tiny crack on the top near the treble side of the body. This is very minor and does not affect sound or playability (see photos). There is some very light finish cracking around the neck heel but this is only cosmetic. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier play wear towards the lower registers. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Double bound single cutaway body with solid cedar top and arched maple back and sides with a gorgeous flame maple veneer in brown finish. The lower bout had a deep contour in the middle which is very unique to this instrument. Rosewood bridge with brass saddle and inlaid ring rosette.
Neck: Maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard. Brass dot inlays and a 1 11/16” brass nut. Sealed tuners, 25 1/4” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Under-saddle pickup with wooden control knobs for master volume and tone.
Weight: 5lbs, 1.6oz.
Playability/Sound: The sound from this guitar projects very nicely with a great midrange presence. The lows, mids and highs are ring out with plenty of resonance. This is a great sounding guitar for the price!
Case: Inclueds original hardshell case in good condition. There are some scratches, scuffs and small tears on the case covering but it functions fine.
