Description
We recently acquired this very rare, one of a kind DMZ-1000 from a dealer who purchased the guitar directly from Paul Unkert back when it was made. Paul was the employee who designed & built the first Kramer guitars used by Eddie Van Halen. This particular wood neck Kramer was built by Paul as a prototype for a new model that did not go into production. DMZ models typically have an aluminum neck & are rather heavy. This beautiful, all-wood model is much lighter & a definite must-have for any collector!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - very clean with only a few minor nicks & dings along with mild surface scratches. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of strings & low action, so it plays & sounds great!

Body: Double-cutaway, solid maple body with some nice bird's eye figuring. Top-loading bridge with six adjustable barrel saddles. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11.5 oz.
Pickup: Seymour Duncan Seymourizer II humbucker - 3.368K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with with black Strat-style knobs. Pots date to '80. All electronics are in perfet working condition. The pickup has a very punchy tone to it & sounds very Fender like.
