Description
Condition: This is a great playing guitar with an awesome look and feel. There are various scratches, small nicks, dings, dents and some chips throughout the finish. There are some finish chips along the neck heel seam. This is perfectly normal and only cosmetic. The neck has been professionally re-fretted and a new bone nut was made. The fingerboard and frets are in excellent shape. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. The pickguard is missing. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Semi-hollow double bound body with maple top, back and sides in sunburst finish. The binding has developed a beautiful patina adding to the guitar’s vintage look. Quick Change tailpiece with TOM style bridge with six individual saddles. Skirted control knobs with rubber grips, dual “F’ holes. The original screw holes for the pickgurd are still visible.
Neck: Nicely rounded slender maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard and pearloid dot inlays. The neck width at the nut is 1 11/16”. The hand-made bone nut measures 1 6/8” wide. Sealed Ibanez tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 14.75K Ohms.
Bridge: 14.53K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 11.5oz.
Playability/Sound: The high-output humbuckers and semi-hollow body design are a great combination. They offer plenty of sustain yet have an “open” sound thanks to the semi-hollow body design. The slender neck is extremely comfortable and suitable for any playing style.
Case: Includes older hardshell case. There is duct tape holding together parts of the top and sides of the case but it is in good working overall condition.
