Description
What makes this guitar special: 100% original with a cool vintage vibe. Two Gibson humbuckers & a smooth feeling neck make the guitar a great player. Simple & to the point with a warm, rich tone. Pro set up included with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Typical wear & tear for a 35-year old guitar - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & light buckle rash. The flange on the bass-side of the headstock had come loose, so we re-glued it & it's now stable. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a nice patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black side-dots & some very light flame figuring in the bass side. Maple fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in good condition with hardly any wear. Flying V style headstock shape with Marauder truss rod cover. Nickel Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body in brown stain finish. Stopbar tailpiece & adjustable bridge with chrome hardware. Single-ply large black pickguard shows some pick wear & has a small chipped off piece down near the input jack. Guitar weighs 9 lbs 3 oz.
Pickups: Custom-designed Bill Lawrence pickups sealed in clear epoxy with black covers. Master volume & tone controls with black speed knobs; rotary "chicken head" pickup selector knob. All electronics are original & in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
