Description
What makes this guitar special: An early version of a popular model, in fantastic shape for its age with a terrific sound and optimum playability. This piece is in all original condition, and being one of the early models sports the desirable TP6 tailpiece, as opposed to the trapeze tailpiece found on the later iterations. The pickups are original, one tarback in the bridge, and one patent no. embossed in the neck, providing a phenomenal sound with ample versatility. Professionally inspected and setup by the experts at Cream City Music, it will arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: Great shape for its age, with some light honest wear throughout. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, and scuffs present, with a handful of small chips in the finish and visible tarnishing on the hardware. The frets show wear consistent with age, but still have a good amount of life left. Overall, this one is in remarkable shape for its age, with a great patina.
Body: Double bound maple back & sides in sunburst finish with 5-ply black pickguard and black pickup bezels. Tune-O-Matic bridge and TP-6 stopbar tailpiece.
Weight: 8 lb, 15.7 oz
