What makes this guitar special: A great player's grade Strat at an affordable price. The original Candy Apple Red finish was stripped off quite some time ago, but the guitar still maintains a cool vintage vibe. Comfortable neck & killer sounding pickups with a pro set up from our own luthier, so it plays & sounds marvelous.
Cosmetic Condition: Good condition overall with some typical wear - various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & light play wear. The Candy Apple Red finish was stripped off the body, but is still present under the pickguard. The original bridge saddles have been replaced along with both tone knobs & pots.
Neck: Somewhat chunky maple neck with skunk stripe & black side-dots. Maple fingerboard with black dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. Original red finish & decals on the front of the headstock. Chrome Fender tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural stripped finish. Brass Fender tremolo bridge with unoriginal saddles. Trem arm is missing. 3-ply white pickguard is in good condition with no cracks. Guitar weighs 10.30 lbs.
Pickups: Original Fender single coils with original volume control knob. Bridge - 6.84K ohms; Middle - 6.73K ohms; Neck - 6.91K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls (2-way knob was replaced with bridge tone pot). All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Padded gig bag included.
