Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a great sounding Strat in a rare blue finish and in very good shape for its age! The Strat design features a rotary two-position control knob for different pickup combinations, all gold hardware, awesome blue finish and a matching blue headstock. The tuners are unoriginal, otherwise all electronics and parts are original and working flawlessly so it’s a must-have for any Fender collector!
Condition: Very good shape overall - various minor surface scratches and some small nicks and dings throughout the finish. The lower bass side bout has developed a green hue from normal play wear giving the finish a cool look. The fingerboard and frets have light play wear and tons of life in them. The neck is super comfortable with great action and the truss rod functions perfectly. The original trem arm is missing.
Body: Solid contoured body in blue finish. High-mass synchronized tremolo bridge with six saddles. Gold skirted control knobs and a 3-ply white pickguard and back cover plate. “C’ shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back. Rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays and a 1 9/16” nut width. Sealed Fender tuners, 25.5” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original Fender single-coil pickups in the neck, middle and bridge. Master volume and tone control, a two-way rotary control for combining pickups and a 5-way selector switch.
