What makes this guitar special: A lovely sounding 12-string with a bright, shimmering tone that rings out nicely. Despite two unfortunate top cracks, the guitar is in great shape & shows of a gorgeous tobacco sunburst finish. Professionally inspected & set up with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Various minor nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches. There are two unrepaired top cracks. One is roughly in the middle & extends from behind the bridge to the bottom edge & the other, also roughly in the middle, is between the bridge & the soundhole. The one behind the bridge is the more noticeable of the two, however, both are purely cosmetic rather than structural & do not affect playability or sound quality.
Neck: Wide, flat profile mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & mother of pearl diamond & dot inlays. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Slotted headstock & chrome Ovation tuners with pearloid buttons in perfect working condition. 1 7/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid spruce top with multiple binding. Rosewood bridge with pearloid dot inlays & intricate plastic soundhole rosette. Lyrachord deep bowlback with no electronics. Guitar weighs 5 lbs 0.7 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The exterior of the case has some cracks & chips, but is quite sturdy & serves its purpose well.
