What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful sounding Mustang in very good overall shape for its age! The electronics are all original and the pickups sound fantastic! The control knobs have been changed, otherwise all parts are original and in perfect working condition. The neck on this one is particularly nice and nicely rounded for a super comfy feel!
Condition: There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar. There is a large section of hazing in the lacquer on the back but it is really only visible upon close inspection under sufficient lighting. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. The neck is nice and straight with comfortable action and the truss rod functions perfectly. There is a crack in the heel of the neck which can be seen in the photos. This crack is not showing any movement whatsoever and does not affect the playability of the guitar. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid contoured body in translucent red finish. Fender Dynamic Vibrato bridge. Vibrato arm is missing. Metal control panel with dual skirted control knobs and a 3-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Slender, nicely rounded maple neck with a Rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 9/16” nut. Sealed Fender “F” tuners, 24” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Original gray bottom single-coil pickups in the neck and bridge with dual on/off/phase switches and master volume and tone controls.
Neck: 5.54K Ohms.
Bridge: 5.62K Ohms.
