Description
What makes this guitar special: As the first American Peavey production bass, the T-40 holds a unique place in brand history. It has classic Peavey style, yet carries on the late ‘70s motif of highlighting the natural grain of the instrument’s wood. The medium round profile neck on this bass will be familiar to a variety of players and moves easily from the nut to the cutaway. The pickups are awesomely punchy, yet possess a beefy low end that offers up a bit of chunk without losing articulation. This particular piece is a first year example, in absolutely terrific condition. When you consider the price point in comparison to the build quality and reliability, these basses are about as underrated as they come. Like all our instruments, it has been professionally inspected and setup by one of our expert in-house luthiers. It will arrive ready to play right out of the case. All you have to do is tune it.
