Description
A vintage 1977 Ampeg VT-40 4x10 tube combo amp. Ampeg's take on a Super Reverb-style amp the VT-40 has added features like a master volume control and an active midrange boost/cut that can dramatically alter your tone. It has a spectacular clean tone and and a huge, throaty overdrive as you bring up the volume knobs. Recently serviced and fully re-tubed. The only issue is that the midrange control has no effect on the signal when the midrange frequency is set to 3000 Hz, most likely due to a bad rocker switch. The amp is otherwise fully functional and sounds awesome.
