Description
What makes this guitar special: An awesome player’s grade example, with straightforward controls that can run the gamut from smooth and resonant, to classic Ric thump, all the way to overdriven rock tones. This thing can do it all, and plays like a dream doing it. A professional setup is included, so all you have to worry about is tuning it.
Cosmetic condition: Ridden hard, but still super playable with a great vibe. This one showcases all kinds of playwear (various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs, with areas of finish wear and finish checking throughout), with a few minor modifications. The pickguard and knobs are unoriginal. The truss rod cover is missing. Frets show wear consistent with age, but still have some life left in them.
Body: Solid maple body with some gorgeous birdseye figuring. Black replacement pickguard. Diecast bridge with individually adjustable saddles.
Weight: 9 lb, 12.6 oz
Neck: D-shaped slim-tapered maple neck with paddle headstock and open gear tuners in perfect working order. Aged pearl side dots and inlays. Rosewood fingerboard shows a bit of wear, but nothing that hinders playability. Frets show some wear as well, but still have life left in them. 1 11/16” nut width, 30” scale length. Neck is straight and truss rods are functional.
Electronics: Hi-Gain single coil pickup in the middle position with adjustable tone and volume controls. The pots are vintage replacements, and date to ’79.
Case: Gigbag included.
