Cosmetic Condition: 100% original & a super rare black finish on a gorgeous, vintage 1976 Starcaster. The guitar is in great shape overall with various minor nicks & dings along with light surface scratches & mild finish checking. The guitar was exceptionally well-cared for with zero playability issues. It has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of strings & sounds amazing!
Neck: Very comfortable maple neck with black dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Headstock decal is in great shape & the Fender logo tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & bullet truss rod is in good working condition. Neck dates to '76.
Body: Multi-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. The black finish is very cool & looks fantastic coupled with the maple neck. String-thru bridge with adjustable saddles & chrome hardware. 3-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 10.5 oz.
Pickups: Original Fender Wide Range humbuckers. Bridge - 10.12K ohms; Neck - 10.42K ohms. Both pickups date to '76. Volume & tone controls with black & silver "witch hat" knobs. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. This is also a rare case with the Fender logo on the outside & the original key included!
