Description
What’s special about this guitar: This is a great sounding, comfortable player’s grade vintage SG! The guitar has a great feel thanks to its slender neck and a fantastic sound with its pickups combination. The translucent finish looks excellent and the play wear gives it an authentic vintage look. This is a great guitar for someone who wants a vintage Gibson in great playing shape without breaking the bank!
Condition: Good shape overall! There are various scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar with some buckle rash and areas of finish worn through to the bare wood on the back. This guitar has a repaired headstock crack with a stress crack going halfway down the back of the neck. The crack lines are clearly visible on the back of the neck but it has been professionally glued and is showing no movement whatsoever. The bridge pickup has been replaced with a newer model Gibson humbucker that sounds fantastic when combined with the neck humbucker! Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier wear in some areas but still have plenty of life left in them. There is a chip on the bass side of the nut but the low E string still stays in place just fine.
