Cosmetic Condition: Absolutely stunning condition for a 40-year old guitar with very little wear & plenty of mojo! This gorgeous guitar came out of an 80-piece private collection we just recently acquired. Overall the guitar is in great shape with only minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches & light finish wear. The natural finish is quite eye catching, showing off some really nice wood grain. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with a fresh pack of strings & low action, so it plays & sounds amazing!
Neck: Very comfortable feeling maple neck & fingerboard with black dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Large headstock with bullet truss rod & double string trees. F tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid ash body in natural finish. 3-ply white pickguard has aged into a nice cream color & is in great shape with no cracks. Hardtail bride with adjustable saddles. Guitar weighs just under 8 lbs.
Pickups: Original gray bottom single coils. Bridge - 5.69K ohms; Middle - 5.68K ohms; Neck - 5.77K ohms. Master volume & dual tone controls with upgraded 5-way selector switch. Pots date to '74 & all electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included, although the outside of the case was painted black.
