Cosmetic Condition: Good honest play wear – various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with skunk stripe & black dot inlays. Original small frets show moderate play wear. Large headstock with double string trees & bullet truss rod. F-tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8” nut width; 25 ½” scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid swamp ash body finished in original Walnut. The neck/body connection is a very tight fit making for wonderful transference of sound & energy. Tremolo bridge with adjustable saddles & unoriginal trem arm included. 3-ply black pickguard shows some pick wear, but is in great shape overall with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 9.4 oz - nice weight!
Pickups: Fender black bottom single coils with staggered poles & white covers. All three pickups are pretty evenly matched at about 5.40K ohms each. Master volume & dual tone controls with white skirted knobs; unoriginal 5-way selector switch. One pot dates to '73, one dates to '75 & one is difficult to read the code. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The outside of the case has a pretty old Who sticker on it.
