What makes this bass special: A superb player's grade Jetstar II with marvelous tone & playability. The original black finish was stripped off quite some time ago, allowing the bass to show off some gorgeous flame figuring in the body. Cosmetic Condition: Various minor nicks, dents & dings along with surface scratches. As was previously mentioned, the original black finish was stripped off & refinished in natural. Overall the bass is in great shape with a cool look.
Neck: Nicely rounded, slender profile mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Open-back chrome tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 1/2" nut width; 31" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body with some nice flame figuring. Top-loading bridge with adjustable wooden saddles. Bass weighs 7 lbs 4.8 oz.
Electronics: Guild humbuckers with chrome covers & black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with original knobs. 2-way Stereo/Mono mini toggle switch. To access both pickups a tip ring sleeve (TRS) cable is necessary. Low-cut filter mini toggle for the neck pickup only. 3-way pickup selector switch. Pots date to '73 & all electronics are in good working condition.
