Cosmetic Condition: Great shape for a 40+ year old bass! Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish blemishes. The bass is 100% original & free of any cracks, breaks or repairs. It has been professionally set up by us with low action so it plays & sounds marvelous.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Chrome tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 30 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: SG-style solid mahogany body in walnut finish. Top-loading bridge with adjustable saddles. Original bridge cover with mute pad. 5-ply black pickguard in great shape with no cracks. Bass weighs 9 lbs 3 oz.
Pickups: One full size & one mini humbucker with black bezels. Dual volume & tone controls with black "witch hat" knobs; 4-way varitone switch. Pots date to '73 & all electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included along with original Gibson booklet.
