What’s special about this guitar: This is a beautiful sounding and very comfortable vintage model Giannini Classical guitar. The sound of this guitar is exceptional for an instrument in its price range and the playability is quite comfortable. This guitar features a spruce to with laminate back and sides, a wide neck with a rosewood fingerboard and a very loud projecting sound.
Condition: Very good playing condition! There are plenty of scratches, nicks, dings, dents and chips throughout the guitar. There is a large chip and small amount of separate between the top and sides on the lower bass side bout and a small hairline crack along the bass side of the neck heel with a small amount of separation due to aging and shrinking. There is no separation on the treble side and the neck heel is stable. The neck is very comfortable with nice action. For reference, the action is 8/32nds at the 12th fret.
Body: double-bound body with a spruce to and laminate back and sides in natural finish. Rosewood bridge with an ivoroid saddle and an inlaid rosette around the sound hole.
Neck: Very comfortable and nicely shaped wide neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid side dot fret markers and a 1 15/16” nut. Slotted peg head with three-on-a-strip open-gear tuners with pearloid buttons. 25.4” scale length.
