Description

What makes this guitar special: A super cool player’s grade piece, with great playability and a cool vibe. This Bronco was long ago refinished in metallic black, which has aged nicely over the years with just enough checking to give it an honest vintage look. It’s a dream to play, with a nice rounded neck profile that rests comfortably in hand, and a silky smooth rosewood fingerboard. Professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier, and ready to play out of the case.

Cosmetic condition: Definitely used, but not abused, with plenty of honest wear throughout. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs present. The body has been refinished in a metallic black, and all of the electronics have been swapped, as has the pickguard. The frets show wear consistent with age, but still have life in them. The hardware shows some visible oxidation, and the lower tip of the pickguard is cracked. The tremolo arm is missing and not included.

Body: Double cutaway alder body refinished in metallic black with 3-ply replacement mint pickguard. Top loading tremolo bridge with individually adjustable saddles.

Weight: 6 lb, 10.9 oz

Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black side dots and pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in good shape, and while frets show wear, they still have some life in them. 1 5/8” nut width, 24” scale length. Fender F-stamped tuners work great. Neck dates to ’72. Neck is straight and truss rod functions as it should.

Electronics: Replacement Stratocaster pickup in the bridge postion (5.90k ohms) with black witch hat knobs, 1x tone, 1x volume. Original potentiometers have been changed. All electronics are fully functional.
