What makes this guitar special: A stunning Dobro with gorgeous appointments, a phenomenal sound, and a patina that absolutely can’t be beat. The body features a lovely sandblasted ornamental design throughout the top and back, with intricately carved floral spirals on both the coverplate and tailpiece. This piece was well-loved and sports a badge on the top from a previous owner that reads “Wade Leggets.” This gorgeous piece has been professionally inspected and setup by our expert in-house luthier. It will arrive ready to play out of the case.
Cosmetic condition: An honest player, with 45 years of stories to tell, and a fantastic vintage aesthetic. There are various scratches, dents, dings, nicks, chips, and scuffs present, with numerous areas of finish wear (most notably along the back of the neck), and areas of finish checking present. The tuners have been replaced with contemporary reproductions, and a previous owner adhered a name badge to the top above the resonator cone. The hardware shows visible tarnishing as well. Overall, this one has a fabulous look to it, with a beautiful patina.
