Cosmetic Condition: The perfect alternative to Gibson's SG & at a much more affordable price! We usually see the S-50 & S-100 models, so to come across an S-90 in black is pretty unique indeed. The guitar has that perfect, well-played look you see on so many great, vintage guitars - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & finish checking. There are no breaks or repairs. It has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of strings & low action.
Neck: Soft, V-shaped mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Original Grover Statite tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
Body: Contoured, solid mahogany body in original black finish. Chrome tailpiece & adjustable bridge with roller saddles. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 13 oz.
Pickups: Original Guild humbuckers. Bridge - 6.77K ohms; Neck - 7.31K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with unoriginal black speed knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are original & in perfect working condition.
