Description
Condition: This is a great playing SG Deluxe in decent shape for its age! There are plenty of scratches, nicks, dings, dents and some buckle rash that has worn through to the bare wood on back. There are some large dings on the front near the bass side horn and back towards the middle. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear with heavier wear in some areas. There is a little more relief on the bass side than the treble side but overall the neck is very straight and in great shape for its age with no playability issues. The truss rod functions fine. All electronics and parts are original and in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid SG shaped mahogany body in cherry finish. Gibson branded Bigsby tailpiece, Tone-O-Matic bridge, 4-ply black control panel with skirted knobs with silver inserts and a 4-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Very slender 3-piece mahogany neck with bound rosewood fingerboard. The binding has developed a nice patina that looks great against the cherry finish! Pearloid block inlays and a 1 9/16” nut. Gibson Grover tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Gibson embossed humbuckers in the neck and bridge with dual volume and tone controls and a 3-way selector switch.

Weight: 7lbs, 9.0oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great playing SG Deluxe. The humbuckers offer a bold sound with plenty of output and sustain. The vibrato tailpiece offers both looks and versatility. The very slender neck is extremely comfortable and ideal for players who prefer a slimmer neck profile.
Case: Includes original hardshell case. The case has a slight cigarette odor but is clean and in good working condition.
