Cosmetic Condition: Super cool vintage vibe with a gorgeous patina. There are various minor nicks, dents & dings; light surface scratches & mild play wear. The bridge is not original & is actually lifting up a bit from the top of the guitar. But what really makes this guitar quite stunning, however, is the highly flamed maple neck & beautiful figuring in the back & sides of the body. Along with the thin nitro finish, the guitar portrays a character more like a 60's Dove than a 70's. The colors of the dove & floral motif on the pickguard are still quite vibrant. The marquetry on the body really pops & there are no cracks. Overall the guitar has a marvelous look to it & offers a warm, rich tone.
Neck: Nicely rounded & very comfortable flame maple neck with cream binding & black side dots. Rosewood fingerboard with double parallelogram mother of pearl inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Chrome Gibson tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought body in a natural finish. Solid spruce top with 7-ply binding. Unoriginal bridge with pearloid dove inlays &adjustable saddle. Tortoise-style pickguard with Dove & Floral motif. The guard is in great shape with no cracks. Flame maple sides & back with 5-ply binding.
Case: Vintage 1960's Ess & Ess hardshell case included.
