Description
Condition: This is a highly unique guitar with an exceptionally good tone. There are various surface scratches and small nicks and dings throughout the instrument with some heavier scuffing on the back. There are only a few deeper scratches on the entire guitar. There is a very slight “dip” in the neck around the 12th fret mostly visible on the bass side. The neck is otherwise mostly straight with great playability up and down the fingerboard. Truss rod functions fine. Fingerboard and frets have only light play wear with some heavier wear towards the lower frets. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Hollow double-bound body with maple top, back and sides in a dark trans green finish. Trapeze tailpiece, rosewood-based nickel bridge with ivoroid saddles, skirted control knobs with silver tops, baffled F-holes and a 5-ply black pickguard.
Neck: Slender maple neck with bound rosewood fingerboard. Split pearloid inlays, zero-fret and a 1 5/8” metal nut. Sealed Yamaha tuners, 24 ¾” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Hum-free, anisotrophic ferrite magnet pickups in the neck and bridge with master volume control, master tone control, balancer control (pickup blend) and a 3-way selector switch.
Neck: 8.37K Ohms.
Bridge: 8.37K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 14.5oz.
Playability/Sound: This is a great sounding, great playing 12-string guitar. The baffled sound holes actually help to eliminate feedback so the guitar can be played at higher volumes. The unique control system allows the player to use the blend control to go between pickups with the selector in the middle position, or allows the player to use the selector as a “kill switch” with the blend knob in a specific setting. The slender neck is extremely comfortable and ideal for any playing style.
Case: Includes original hardshell case. The binding and sides of the case are loose in some areas (see photos) but the case is in good overall working shape.
