Description

What makes this guitar special:  Rare, boutique dreadnought hand-made by Augustino "Augie" LoPrinzi in Baptistown, NJ sometime in the mid to late '70s.  This gorgeous guitar is modeled after Martin's D-35, with a three-piece Indian rosewood back.  It delivers a warm, rich tone that's nicely balanced & very loud.  Professionally set up by our luthier, so it plays & sounds amazing!

Cosmetic Condition:  Great shape for its age - various minor nicks & dings; surface scratches & some mild weather checking.  Overall the guitar has a cool, true vintage look with a beautiful patina.

Neck:  Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream binding.  Ebony fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays.  Frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Rosewood headstock overlay with gold silkscreen Augustino logo.  Grover Rotomatic tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 3/4" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.

Body:  Double-bound dreadnought body in natural finish.  Solid spruce top with multi-layer purfling.  Ebony bridge with cream end pins & black pickguard.  Solid Indian rosewood back & sides with 3-piece back.  There is no pickup.  Guitar weighs 5 lbs 1.7 oz.

Case:  Tweed hardshell case included.
