Description
A vintage 1970 Traynor YBA-1 Bassmaster handwired tube amp head in nice cosmetic condition. These amps are often referred to as the "Poor Man's Marshall," since the circuit can be easily modified to that of the classic 4-input 60s and 70s Marshall amps. However, these Traynors are great amps in their own right--made in Canada and fully hand-wired on tag board with GIANT Hammond transformers. This amp has a lot of clean headroom and passes a TON of low end, so it will make a great pedal platform. It should be noted that someone had previously installed an adjustable bias trimmer on the circuit board. This is a very useful modification that we chose to leave in place for ease of tube replacement in the future. This amplifier has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds great.
