Description
What makes this guitar special: A fabulous, small body 12-string with a sweet, rich voice & sparkling sustain. Professionally inspected & set up by the experts at Cream City Music, so she's ready for action straight out of the case.
Cosmetic Condition: Really nice shape for its age with typical play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, pick wear, weather checking & some finish wear. There are a couple of very minor top cracks due to pickguard shrinkage. Neither have been repaired & they're both fairly inconsequential. There's a bit of binding shrinkage in the body waist, but nothing missing. Overall the guitar has a wonderful, true vintage look to it with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard & cream side-dots. Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them. Mother of pearl Guild & Chesterfield headstock inlays. Open-back strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 7/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard. String height at the 12th fret is about 3/16" & there's still room on the saddle.
Body: Solid spruce top with 7-ply binding. Rosewood bridge with cream end pins. Double tortoise pickguards & multi-ring rosette. Solid mahogany sides & back with 3-ply binding. 16" lower bout width; 11 1/2" upper bout width; 5" depth. There is no pickup; guitar weighs 4 lbs 14.5 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case included. The handle has been replaced & the locking clasp doesn't always stay closed.
