Description

What makes this guitar special: Only made in ’67 and ’68, these National/Supro Lexington models are rare finds-even more so in a 3 pickup arrangement. Kitschy, weird, and dripping with vintage aesthetic, this 3-pickup monster is a great addition to any collection. Individually selectable pickups allow you whatever configuration you want, and the stock humbuckers sound great, with crisp, clear tones in any position. This piece even has a string damper! It comes in the original case with a vintage patch cable, and as with all our pieces, a professional luthier setup.

Cosmetic condition: Very good condition, with expected wear and tear for its age. Various scratches, nicks, dings, dents, and scuffs throughout the instrument, with some finish chipping on the top of the headstock, and expected finish checking on the body. The switch tips are unoriginal, and the 3-way switch for the bridge pickup has a little bit of difficulty staying in the off position (just needs to be held there for a moment).

Body: Contoured solid body in sunburst finish with multi-ply tortoise pickguard and black pickup bezels. Space roller bridge with on/off string damper and top loading tremolo tailpiece.

Weight: 10lb, 10oz

Neck: Wide C neck with aged white side dots and pearl dot inlays. Rosewood fingerboard is in outstanding shape with no pitting, and frets have a ton of life left in them. 1 3/4" nut width, and 25” scale length. Large scale headstock sports a cursive National logo and Kluson Deluxe nickel tuners, in perfect working order. Neck is straight and plays great up and down the fretboard.

Electronics: 3 individually selectable humbuckers (Bridge-8.69K ohms, Middle-8.58K ohms, Neck-8.10K ohms) with individual 3-way tone switches and black silver topped groove knobs (3x individual volume, 1x master volume).

Case: Original hard shell case included, along with vintage patch cable. Case shows some wear consistent with age, but still closes fine and does the job.
