Description
Condition: This is a great vintage player’s grade guitar with a nice added pickup. The body has been refinished and shows scratches, unevenness and small nicks and dings. The pickguard has some clear coat over-spray. Fingerboard and frets have moderate play wear and plenty of life left in them. There is some finish disruption to the back of the neck but this is very minor. The neck is very straight and the truss rod functions fine. There are tow maple neck shims in the neck heel. The guitar currently plays fine so we are leaving them in. The pickup has been replaced and some wiring and soldering work is unoriginal. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.
Body: Solid double-cutaway body in white finish. Vibrato tailpiece with trem arm and six individual saddles. 3-ply white pickguard and skirted control knobs with white “F” logo inserts.
Neck: Slender maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard. Pearloid dot inlays and a 1 5/8” nut. Sealed Fender tuners with ivoroid buttons, 24” scale length.
Pickups/Electronics: Seymour Duncan Hot Rails pickup in the bridge with master volume and tone controls.
Pickup: 7.80K Ohms.
Weight: 7lbs, 5.5oz.
Playability/Sound: The hot Seymour Duncan pickup really gives this guitar a nice added edge. The volume control can be utilized to clean up the sound when overdriven and the high output provides a nice range of sound. The neck is very comfortable and suitable for virtually any playing style.
Case: Includes newer Fender hardshell case.
