Description
A vintage 1968 Black Line Drip Edge Fender Bassman tube amp head in very nice cosmetic condition. This one has been modified from the standard AB165 circuit to the highly-sought after AA864 circuit, found only in the earliest pre-CBS Blackface Bassman amps. This circuit gives the amp improved top end and a smoother transition from clean to dirty as you push it into overdrive. The normal channel offers the classic huge Fender clean sound and, consequently, works great with pedals. While the bass channel, with its extra gain stage, puts out a crunch tone that is on par with any Marshall. This amp has been serviced and tested. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic.
