Description
Designed by Dan Helland in Green Bay, Wisconsin & built by the Holman-Woodell factory in Neodesha, Kansas. Helland had Holman-Woodell build him around 45 “Six,” “Twelve” (12-string), and “Four” (bass) guitars. They were introduced at the summer NAMM show in Chicago in ’67 where zero orders were produced. The company folded shortly thereafter.
Cosmetic Condition: Very good condition for its age, showing various finish chips & weather checking, as well as some minor nicks, dents & dings. The chrome hardware has tarnished a bit & there are light surface scratches throughout the body. There is some finish wear on the back of the neck as well as some minor finish chips. The body is made up of two pieces of wood & there is some minor separation between the two pieces along the bass-side seam. The guitar has been professionally set up by us with a fresh pack of strings & plays well. Overall it has a great look to it with a gorgeous patina.
