Cosmetic Condition: This one's been around the block a few times & it shows - lots of nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. It's taken everything that was thrown at it & come out on top - just a fabulous, true vintage beauty with a gorgeous patina.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with micro dot inlays. Original frets show some light wear with plenty of life in them. The frets on these vintage Mosrites are pretty tiny & not what most players prefer, but they are original nonetheless. Nickel Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" metal nut with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition. Neck date is Jan 12, 1966.
Body: Double-cutaway maple body with arched top finished in 3-tone sunburst. Moseley tremolo tailpiece with replaced arm. Six-saddle adjustable bridge. 3-ply pickguard has aged into a greenish/cream color & is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 7.2 oz. Body date is Dec 2 or 9 1965.
Pickups: Mosrite of California single coils with black covers. Bridge - 11.91K ohms; Neck - 12.79K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with M-logo knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included, however the handle is missing.
