What makes this guitar special: Recently acquired from the original owner who bought it brand new back in '66 from Crown Music right here in Milwaukee. The guitar was professionally refretted in 2005. It also had its switch & input jack replaced at that time as well. Other than that it's all original & was lovingly played for the past 50 years. The guitar plays great & delivers a bright, punchy tone.
Cosmetic Condition: Used, but not abused - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & mild finish wear.
Neck: Slender profile maple neck with cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful, rosewood fingerboard with micro dot inlays. The guitar was refretted in 2005 with 6230 size frets, which are currently in great shape with no wear. Original Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" metal nut with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Hollow walnut body with an arched spruce top. Moseley tremolo tailpiece with adjustable saddles. 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks & only slightly warped up near the neck pickup. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 15.4 oz.
Pickups: Original Mosrite single coils. Bridge - 11.89K ohms; Neck - 12.55K ohms. Master volume & tone controls with original knobs; 3-way toggle switch. Pots date to '66. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included. Replaced handle.
