Description
What makes this guitar special: Exceptionally clean for its age & just a wonderful little guitar with a sweet voice. All solid tone woods along with a chunky neck make this a great player. Professionally set up by our own luthier, so it sounds fantastic!
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for being 50 years old! A few minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches & some light weather checking/finish cracks. You can feel a bit of the seam in the headstock flanges, particularly on the bass side, but there's no separation. Overall the guitar look fabulous & practically brand new - a real closet classic!
Neck: Chunky mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard & gold side-dots. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Nickel, open-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 3/4" nut width; 25" scale length. Neck is straight & plays nicely up & down the fretboard.
Body: Small body acoustic in natural finish. Solid spruce top with 4-ply binding. Rosewood bridge with tortoise pickguard & 5-ply rosette. Solid mahogany sides & back with single-ply binding. 14 1/4" lower bout width; 11" upper bout width; 3 3/4" depth. Guitar weighs 3 lbs 9.6 oz.
Case: Original semi-hardshell case included. The case is also in excellent condition & very clean.
