Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition for its age with a wonderful vintage vibe. There are some minor nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & light weather checking, but no cracks, breaks or repairs. There is "2" in the back of the headstock just under the serial number indicating the guitar was a factory second, but there are no playability issues whatsoever with the guitar. All in all it's a great piece with a truly beautiful patina.
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side-dots. Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Elongated headstock with mother of pearl diamond inlay. Kluson Deluxe strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 9/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes. Trapeze tailpiece with ABR-1 bridge & chrome hardware. 5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 3.9 oz.
Pickups: Gibson Pat No. humbuckers with chrome covers & black bezels. Bridge - 7.91K ohms; Neck - 7.70K ohms. Dual volume & tone controls with black 'top hat' knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Unoriginal '70s Gibson hardshell case included.
