Cosmetic Condition: Ultra cool vibe from an iconic instrument. A gorgeous, true vintage piece with just the right look. Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. This beautiful bass has a warm, rich tone with a sweet acoustic resonance. The neck is very comfortable & plays great.
Neck: Medium profile maple neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Dark rosewood fingerboard with cream dot inlays. Original frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Open-back nickel tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width with zero fret; 30" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Violin-shaped hollow maple body with arched back & carved spruce top. The bass is finished in classic sunburst that shows off a beautiful patina. Nickel trapeze tailpiece with adjustable ebony bridge. The pearloid pickguard has warped a bit & has a new bracket, but there are no breaks or cracks in the guard. Bass weighs 4 lbs 9.4 oz.
Pickups: Original "staple" pickups with black bezels. Dual volume controls with "tea cup" knobs. One knob is missing its cap. Rhythm/Solo, Bass & Treble switches. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Case: Vintage hardshell case included.
