Description
What makes this guitar special: A fun little acoustic with a cool vintage vibe despite its less than stellar appearance. The all mahogany body produces a sweet, rich tone & the neck is super comfortable to play. A great starter guitar or just jam around the campfire. Comes with a pro set up from Cream City Music, with fresh strings & low action.
Cosmetic Condition: Lots of good, honest play wear - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. There's a crack in the back that was professionally repaired - glued & cleated. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a beautiful patina.
Neck: Nicely rounded mahogany neck with cream side-dots. Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show some light wear & have plenty of life in them. Open-back strip tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width (unoriginal nut); 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: Solid mahogany top with tortoise binding. The original plastic bridge with replaced & upgraded with a rosewood one. Cherry plexi, screwed down pickguard is in great shape with no cracks. Ladder bracing. Solid mahogany back & sides. There is no pickup. Guitar weighs 3 lbs 14 oz.
Case: Vintage chipboard case included - also a bit rough, but serves its purpose well.
