Description
A vintage 1965 Flotatone Model 600 tube combo amp in great cosmetic condition. These lesser-known tube amps were manufactured in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from the late 1940s to mid 1960s. Once thought to be bargain bin amps, these hand-wired gems are rapidly gaining popularity and value due to their fantastic build quality and tweed-esque tone. This 1965 model is the latest production Flotatone we have ever seen and is likely one of the last amps made by the company. It is also the only Flota we've ever seen that utilizes 7591 power tubes. The amp features a big clean tone that transitions into a thick, tweed-y overdrive as you turn up the volume. In addition it has a great-sounding tube-driven tremlo. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds fantastic.
