Description
Cosmetic Condition: Authentic vintage look - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, finish checking & play wear. Overall the guitar has a great look to it with a strong red finish & gorgeous patina.
Neck: Maple neck with Brazilian rosewood fingerboard & pearloid dot inlays. There is a minor, superficial crack in the neck right at the butt end (see photos). It is stable & does not affect playability or sound quality. In fact it can hardly be seen unless the neck is taken off the body. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Headstock decals are also in great shape. Kluson Deluxe tuners in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck date is 8 SEP 65 B.
Body: Offset, double-cutaway body finished in red. Dynamic Vibrato tailpiece with adjustable bridge. Unfortunately the trem arm is missing. 3-ply pearloid pickguard in great shape with no cracks or breaks. Guitar weighs 7lbs 10.5oz.
Pickups: Original Mustang single coils. Master volume & tone controls - pots date to '65. All electronics are in perfect working condition.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action - neck is very smooth & plays great! Classic Mustang tone with nice dynamics.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
