Description

What makes this guitar special:  Aside from the tone knob the guitar is all original & along with its matching amp everything is in perfect working condition.  Produced for only a short period of time between '62 & '67, Epiphone records indicate that fewer than 400 Professional sets were made, making them rather rare indeed.  Professionally inspected & set up by our luthier, so the guitar plays & sounds fantastic.  The matching amp has also been inspected & tested by our amp specialist.

Cosmetic Condition:  Great shape for its age with typical play wear - various minor nicks & chips; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear on the back of the body.  No cracks, breaks or repairs.  There is a very small gap between the neck heel & body near the strap button, but the neck is not loose & there is no issues with playability.  Overall the guitar has a cool vintage vibe & gorgeous patina.

Neck:  Nicely rounded, wide mahogany neck with cream binding & tortoise side-dots.  Beautiful Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl parallelogram inlays.  Frets show some wear, but have plenty of life in them.  Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition.  1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length.  Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.

Body:  Double-bound, semi-hollow maple body with dual F-holes.  Frequensator tailpiece & ABR-1 bridge with nylon saddles.  Nickel hardware.  5-ply black pickguard is in great shape with no cracks.  Guitar weighs 8 lbs 8.7 oz.

Pickup / Electronics:  Mini humbucker with master volume & tone controls.  There are five Tonexpressor switches mounted to the pickguard; on/off switches for the tremolo & reverb; frequency and depth knobs for the tremolo; one knob to control the level of reverb.  All electronics are in good working condition.

Case:  Original hardshell case included.  One latch is missing, otherwise the case is in great shape.
