Description
What makes this guitar special: An absolutely gorgeous 00-18C made during the height of the folk movement in America. Warm, rich tone with a beautiful resonance. Great shape for its age & professionally set up by Cream City Music, so it's in perfect playing condition.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall with only light wear - various minor nicks & dings; mild surface scratches. There was a very tiny bit of seam separation in the top behind the bridge, but this appeared to have happened quite some time ago & is purely cosmetic. The middle section of the bridge is ever so slightly pulling up from the top, but the wings are firmly attached to the guitar. The neck was professionally reset also quite some time ago & the angle is perfect.
Neck: Wide mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard & cream side-dots. Frets are in great shape with no wear. Slotted headstock with rosewood overlay. Classical-style tuners with ivoroid buttons in perfect working condition. 2" bone nut; 25.4" scale length. Neck is straight & plays great up & down the fretboard.
Body: 00-size body with tortoise-bound top & back. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge & bone saddle. Solid mahogany back & sides. There is no pickup & the guitar weighs 3 lbs 1.4 oz.
Case: Newer Martin hardshell case included.
