Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & finish wear. Overall the guitar has a really nice, played look to it with a gorgeous patina. No cracks or breaks!
Neck: Slender profile mahogany neck with nicely aged cream binding & tortoise side dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl double parallelogram inlays. Frets are in great shape with hardly any wear. Nickel Kluson, waffle-back tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16" nut width; 25 1/2" scale length.
Body: Square shoulder dreadnought body with multi-bound top & back. Solid spruce top with rosewood bridge & mother of pearl dove inlays. Nickel ABR-1 bridge with adjustable nylon saddles. Tortoise-style pickguard with Dove & floral motif; multi-ring rosette. Highly-figured flame maple back & sides. The cherry finish on the back & sides is very strong & the flame figuring is quite stunning!
Playability / Sound: Neck plays well & is very comfortable. The action up at the 12th fret is a little higher than what most players typically like - it's about 3/16". The guitar produces a warm, rich tone with a nice, sweet resonance.
