Description
An original vintage 1963 Fender Vibroverb tube combo amp in incredible condition. The first Fender amp to feature reverb, the brownface Vibroverb was produced for less than a year and is one of the most collectable vintage amplifiers. Fewer than 600 brown Vibroverbs were ever produced.
This amp is a real closet classic. It spent the last several decades safely covered in a local residence, and it is easily one of the cleanest brown Vibroverbs left in the world. The amp comes with its original Victoria Luggage slip cover. Electrically, the transformers and circuitry are 100% original, and the original filter caps were re-formed over several days by our amp tech. Unfortunately, one of the speakers came to us with a voice coil rub, so we were forced to opt for a re-cone. While no longer 100% original, the speaker was repaired by a world-class re-coner and sounds better than ever.
This is a truly special amplifier that will make the perfect centerpiece to any vintage amp collection. It has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds absolutely fantastic.
