Description
A vintage 1963 Bogen CHB-35 Challenger tube amp head in great cosmetic condition. This amp has been modified by a previous owner for use as a guitar amp. The jacks have been converted over to standard quarter inch as well as a re-voiced preamp and tone stack to make the amp more guitar friendly. Bias adjust and bias balance features have been added as well. The amp now has a great crunch tone that lies somewhere between a tweed deluxe and a cranked Marshall. A great little boutique-quality vintage tube amp for a bargain price. This amp has been cleaned and serviced. It is fully functional and sounds great.
