What makes this guitar special: An awesome, true vintage Jaguar in player's grade condition, making it very affordable indeed. The original finish has been completely stripped off the guitar down to the bare, natural wood. The guitar's got a great vibe to it & has been professionally set up by our luthier with fresh strings & low action, so she's ready to go right out of the case!
Cosmetic Condition: Various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear.
Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with super dark rosewood slab fingerboard & clay dot inlays. Original frets show some wear, but still have plenty of life in them. The headstock decals are not original, but are in great shape. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 24" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine. Neck stamp reads 1 MAY 62 B.
Body: Contoured, solid alder body. Tremolo tailpiece with original trem arm. Adjustable bridge with mute mechanism in good working condition. 4-ply tortoise pickguard is in great shape with no cracks, but has shrunk a bit. Guitar weighs 8 lbs 3 oz.
Pickups: Original Jaguar single coils with non-staggered poles. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Unoriginal hardshell case included.
