Description
Cosmetic Condition: Cool vintage vibe with a gorgeous patina. The guitar recently came to us & was kept in very good condition over the years. There are various minor nicks, chips, dents & dings along with surface scratches. The white finish has aged into a mellow cream color & there's some really nice variegation in the back of the neck. The neck binding has cracked over the years, but is very smooth & stable with no pieces missing. Overall the guitar has a great look to it & has been professionally set up by us with a fresh set of stings so it plays great!
Neck: Nicely rounded & very comfortable maple neck with beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard & triangle pearloid inlays. Original frets show some light wear, but have plenty of life in them. Original Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. The G tuner is slightly bent, but still functions properly. 1 3/4" nut width with zero fret; 24 3/4" scale length.
Body: Map-shaped Reso Glas body with black "bumper" & trapeze tailpiece. Cream plexi pickguard with black stripes & National Val Pro logo. The pickguard is in great shape with no cracks or breaks. The strap button by the neck is not original & is actually just a screw, but it works so we left it alone. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 6.5 oz.
Pickups: Neck humbucker with thick cream bezel - 9.00K ohms. Acoustic bridge pickup - 6.87K ohms. The large knob on its own is the master volume control. The three smaller knobs grouped together are the volume & tone for the humbucker & volume for the bridge pickup. The humbucker has a warm, rich, organic tone & the bridge offers more of a bright, zippy tone. All electronics are in good working condition.
Case: Original hardshell case included.
